Got numbers? Check out this little breakout board to easily add a numeric display to your next project. These little lights are compact, bright, and ready to daisy chain . They require only three wires from an Arduino or your favorite micro-controller. You can display any digit (and we already figured out the hex codes for you). This DIY Kit combines the 74HC595 shift register, and a seven segment LED display from Sparkfun. The LEDs are current-limited with resistors and we threw in some capacitors to smooth out the power lines.
