This L293 breakout board allows you to precisely control a stepper motor from an Arduino or other microcontroller. Our breakout board needs only two general purpose I/O lines, freeing up more pins for your awesome projects! The tutorial
contains sample code to control the stepper motor's speed and angle using this breakout board. We pulled out the power and control lines to breadboard-friendly 0.1" spaced pins. Also we broke out a bunch of extra ground and power pins so you can easily expand your project.
This board comes fully assembled and ready to go, just add a motor, a micro-controller and some power. Select from the drop-down menu below if you want it without headers or with male or female headers. If you get it without headers you will need to solder wires to the PCB. You can grab a stepper at sparkfun
or salvage one
from an old printer or scanner.
